Sardar Harnek Singh Mangat established Katani in 1981 in Tricity. Katani was hi village name Katani Kalan distt Ludhiana. He belonged to the army family. While doing his graduation he established dairy farms in village Shekhupura district Patiala. After completing his graduation he moved back to his village Katani Kalan and he did dairy farming on a large scale with agriculture farming and a ration depot. Then he started to supply diary products like milk, desi ghee etc. in Chandigarh, Mohali, Shimla and slowly he established Katani in tricity…
